ASO CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES

In partnership with our Outreach and Education Sponsors, musicians of the ASO will present three small chamber music recitals throughout the season at various locations in our community, FREE to students (18 and under) and senior citizens (65 and up)!

Why Chamber Music? Chamber music is an essential part of the classical music tradition and provides a unique listening experience for audiences. Unlike large orchestral works, chamber music is typically performed by small ensembles of two to ten musicians, often without a conductor. This intimate setting allows for a more intimate and nuanced musical performance, where each musician is able to communicate and interact with each other in a more direct and spontaneous way. Chamber music often features works by lesser-known composers, providing an opportunity to discover and appreciate a wide range of musical styles and periods. The genre also promotes collaboration and communication skills among musicians, as they must listen and respond to each other's playing in real-time. Chamber music provides an invaluable opportunity for musicians and audiences alike to connect with each other and with the rich musical traditions of the past and present, and we are thrilled to be offering this experience this season!

Opt in for these performances on your annual subscription card! These performances are $20 for General Admission; free to students (18 and under) and senior citizens (65 and up).
