Debbie Trudeau

Debbie Trudeau received her M.M. Performance from New England Conservatory having studied with Dorothy DeLay and Hyo Kang on both modern and baroque violin. She was a member of the Syracuse Symphony and Glimmerglass Opera before moving to Pennsylvania in 2005. She performs regularly with the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra, the Nittany Valley Symphony and the Altoona Symphony in addition to freelance work. She is heard in recital with the Allegrķa Ensemble, a trio of flute, violin, and cello.

An active teacher, she is the Director of Sinfonia and Instructor of Violin and Viola at Juniata College. As a Pennsylvania State Teaching Artist for the Galaxy Arts in Education Program she enjoys the creative opportunity to explore the intersection of music and core subjects in the classroom. Ms. Trudeau also maintains a private teaching studio.
