Planned Giving

The 2005-06 Season saw the implementation of a Three-Phased Financial Plan to bring lasting stability to the ASO after years of uncertainty. With a balanced budget the past two seasons and a successful Bridge Fund Campaign, our long-term financial plan is off to a great start.

But lasting financial stability takes many seasons to achieve and we are continuing our efforts in 07-08. Our budget this year has 4% less in expenses than in 06-07 and we continue to develop and explore new funding sources for the ASO.

The 07-08 Season will see the continued implementation of Phase III of our Financial Plan, rebuilding our cash reserve, seriously depleted after being used for many seasons to cover budget shortfalls, and building our endowment.

And we need your support to make this final, crucial phase successful!

A healthy endowment would provide a steady cash-flow to the ASO, greatly reducing our dependence on donated income while at the same time increasing our financial stability. Our goal is a financially healthy organization performing for our loyal audience for generations to come.

We ask all of our loyal patrons to consider giving to the ASO's Endowment Fund. Opportunities exist for endowing chairs, concerts and programs in perpetuity. Ways to give include:

Bequests and Wills
Cash, Securities and other Assets
Life Insurance Policies
Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Remainder Trusts
Gift of Real Estate
Gifts of Tangible Property

By giving generously to the ASO Endowment today you are ensuring many tomorrows for Central Pennsylvania's own orchestra.

If you are interested in donating to this critically important fund, please contact the ASO Office.
